The 40.5kV isolation switch is composed of GW4-40.5(D)(W) type isolation switch body, CS11 or CS8-6D type manual operating mechanism, transmission accessories, etc. The 110 kV isolation switch is composed of GW-4-126(D)(W) type isolation switch body, CS14G manual operating mechanism, transmission accessories, etc., and can also be used with the CJ6 type electric mechanism.
The isolation switch is a double-column horizontal open type isolation switch, which is made into a unipolar type. When the three poles are used synchronously, the poles are connected with a connecting rod. Each unit is composed of a base, pillar insulator, outlet seat and contact, and the two pillar insulator porcelain bottles are installed parallel to each other on the ground bearings at both ends of the base, and perpendicular to the base. The main electrical parts are respectively installed above the two pillar insulator porcelain bottles, and rotate about 90° with the pillar insulator porcelain bottles.
