Tips: S type time delayed electromagnetic RCCB
S-Type RCD is a sinusoidal residual current device incorporating a time delay.
It can be installed upstream from a Type AC RCD to provide selectivity. A time-delayed RCD cannot be used for additional protection.
Where circuits have more than one RCCB, a time delayed unit can be used 'upstream' to allow the RCCBs or RCBOs further down the circuit to
trip first and avoid nuisance tripping of the whole circuit.
